Some news about a pipe line(s) that were red hot a year ago and now we haven’t heard from in a while. I am personally against transporting any oil of this nature by rail lines.

The owner of the railroads agrees with you. I was skeptical about the Alaska pipeline when it first went in, but is hasn't been any problem that I have heard of.

It's (the pipeline) has been there a long time now, like anything else it needs to be maintained.
