Don't know, I wasn't there; he was. In the couple sound bites I've heard posted on line I can only hear one weapon firing, my experience when multiple weapons fire you tend to hear them as folks just don't stop firing simultaneously or start simultaneously.
You can hear the next time you are on a range as folks change mags, start and stop as they acquire targets. But again I wasn't there, and it's hard to cast doubt on someone who was taking fire verses listening to sound bites from the safety of his computer desk.

And when you are running for cover, especially dealing with shock from having been hit, things can get a little cloudy. Not trying to be dismissive, because I am still questioning every side of this story, just saying when things get real sometimes reality can be a little muddled.

Sgt Martin Querin - I'm with ya. I'm not poured in concrete yet. It's a very strange story and info is still coming in. Having rounds fly past you is a very unique experience and he provides on scene info.

lots of echo in all the tapes, it made evasion hard because they couldn't DF, one short police cam allegedly showed fire from 4th floor, I don't envy those investigating, hard enough but with all the rabbits being turned loose....

Urban environments always create multiple shooter reports, sounds echo off buildings making it impossible to determine direction and quantity of shooters. No doubt why he feels this way but his observations even as a first hand witness do not paint a complete picture. Wish him a complete and speedy recovery.

I saw a video where a conspiracy theorist swore up and down some guy pulled out a hand gun and was observed shooting into the crowd. Upon inspection it appears the guy was a concealed carry holder and was simply reacting to the sound of gunshots and he pulled out his pistol and was looking for the shooter. Common sense would tell you he was seeking to protect himself and the people around him.

Capt Jeff S. - lucky he didn't get shot himself in the fray, this one will keep the you tube conspiracy theorists busy for awhile, Alex Jones already claimed false flag but that's normal for him, likely tied in with Jade Helm and escaped to Area 51 through the tunnels connecting vacant Walmart stores

Witness state they were warned they were going to die by individuals walking in the crowd 45min pior to the shooting. Plus, I listened to the recording too. It sounds like a belt feed weapon to me.

We never heard any more about the woman that was allegedly warning people. Authorities wouldn't comment. What little I found said people witnessed her and saw her being escorted away. None said by whom. Maybe if/when any facts become public they'll clear that up. She may end up being the lady in polka dot dress i.e. RFK.
