I'm sure that there will be some who will rush to refute this anecdotal tales with anecdotes of their own. The simple FACT is that the ACA is not sustainable, nor was it ever intended to be sustainable. It was canard to camouflage the assassination of private health insurance and pave the way for a single payer plan a la Great Britain, Canada, and others. Back when I was in college, we debated such a plan and I warned that if the health insurance industry didn't clean up their act, the government would do it for them, and we would rue that day. Well, it seems that my 17-year old self was a helluva lot more prescient than my 75-year old self, doesn't it?

my roomie has had to get a new healthplan nearly EVERY YEAR since ACA kicked in... meanwhile the co-pays & premiums have gone up about 200%.
the interesting thing is this... had affordable healthcare for 30 years before ACA as a small business owner.
