A little more on this story from a different source. It will be interesting to see whether they man up and acknowledge their shoplifting ... and thank those that helped obtain their fairly speedy release. It will also be interesting to see what, if any, penalties UCLA imposes for their embarrassing the school ... and the country.

It’s unclear if the players would be playing in Wednesday night’s home opener against Central Arkansas. They are expected to make a statement after they arrive in Los Angeles.

I was embarrassed when this story first broke. Was hoping Trump would intervene. I'm sure their families are relieved. I do hope there is some level of accountability and introspection.

I would avoid taking up a career in mind reading and predictions. CNN reported the facts and it's nice of China to release these guys. After all, they got what they needed to get out of Trump...an embarrassing, spineless performance.

I studiously avoided mind reading over the course of my career. Did try for a bit of humor here and there along the way though. I guess I missed here ... or my audience lacks a sense of humor. ;)

It's RP. Of course there's a lack of sense of humor when it comes to Trump, media, Liberals, and race.

Makes for good reality TV. The Ball family is being followed by a reality television crew for the Facebook Watch program “Ball in the Family.” Wonder if there will be an episode of the China incident? We can call it "Ball in a China shop". Any predictions?

CMSgt (Join to see) - Well they do have a role model in Trump who treats the presidency like a reality TV show and also tweeted this morning on how the players should thank him as opposed to apologizing to the public for embarrassing their country. Then again what does Trump know about apologies. Hahaha!
