Mexico City was kidnap central for some time; women taken most often, because ransoms would be paid.

Hmm, not a single western city in Europe, the US, Canada Australia. Even Russia has no city on the list.

These are just the worst 10. I am sure there are cities in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen etc.

NYC, the liberal mecca of the US would be number 13 on the worst cities list. Say it ain't so. I thought the leftists that run NYC would have been at the apex of the very best cities in the world.

Louis L'Amour often wrote about the fact that women in the Old West tended to be safe because men were naturally incensed by crimes against women and would hunt down the perpetrators with more zeal than other criminals. Inasmuch as he was an avid researcher, I am inclined to believe him. If we accept that premise, what does it say about these places where women are "low hanging fruit" for the criminal element?
