I have asked on many occasions here on RP and other discussion threads, what is "social justice" and no one has been able to answer. This speaker claims that there are people who can answer and then provides the answer. Before you watch this, ask yourself "What is social justice?" [Note: For those who only wish to use this as another opportunity to carp about PragerU, please don't waste our time. We know you have your prejudices and we don't need to hear them anymore. We're simply trying to have a serious discussion and your comments won't help. Thank you.]

Sorry Jack, I comment where I want to comment, about what I want to comment about.
Like I have stated many times before, most of what PagerU publishes is crap. This isn't one of those. Jonah Goldberg actually has a decent view on a number of issues, beginning with his book (sorry, can't remember the title) that places facism on the liberal/socialist side of the political spectrum. And for the most part, he's correct here.
Social justice is just another way to increase state control and his points on that are valid. But while he correctly points out that social justice is another way of proposing income redistribution, he misidentifies the conservatives as the answer, merely because he ignores that the conservatives wish to use the same state power to impose their morality on the population.
Statism is the problem, from whichever side. Goldberg correctly pointed out half of the statism problem. I'm not going to hold my breath that he'll point out the other half.

Then you go on to expand on the content in ways that I find agreeable. Thank you. I'm sorry I can't give you another up vote. Now, please go back to your irascible ways so I'll can sleep peacefully tonight knowing that the universe hasn't gone off the tracks.
