Not sure if you have ever been to Phoenix, Arizona. However, Senator McCain does both reflect constitutents in his same age group and social class in that city and his viewpoints are almost identical. So this is a case of Democracy working. My Brother lives there as well and when I am around him I constantly have to challenge some of his points of view as being unbeliveably selfish and not really American. So I do not think it is Senator McCain, I think it is the people that live in and around the state that elected him, a large chunk of which are retirees. Last I would never use the word "traitor" when discussing a past POW. You have no clue the pain a POW family goes through or how many decades it takes to forgive the opposing force that held you in captivity or the branch of the Armed Services that left you to rot. I personally feel they should be more of a protected class than a Gold Star family.

I could not even finish this garbage.
I am a Democrat to my bones, but I would never disrespect a former POW, regardless the ideology of the person targeted, like this article does. I dislike many GOP members of Congress, but I still show some respect toward them.
It is garbage like this that accomplishes nothing but putting a deeper divide between the citizens of this nation.
