I am considering getting a life membership. This is a good article on the NRA as an imperfect civil rights organization. The NRA-ILA is a very useful and effective lobbying arm of the NRA and is also worthy of our support. Bottom-line is that we need the NRA to help fight the George Soros and Michael Bloomberg billionaires who are pure elitists wishing to curtail or civil liberties.

We need the NRA due to the fact that there are multiple anti-gun groups in DC and just a few pro/gun groups. The second amendment was not put in the constitution for just a few elite people. Remember a person that owns a firearm is a citizen and a person does not own a firearm is a subject.

Well, before you pay for a life membership, look around the internet for the best deal you can find as NRA is usually running a promotion somewhere. I only paid $300 a couple years ago.
