A retired fertility doctor in Indiana who allegedly fathered 27 children by swapping his sperm is expected to plead guilty to two charges of obstruction of justice.
As Fox 59 reported, the biological children of Donald Cline, 78, were connected through DNA testing and the website 23andme.
Court documents attest that Cline had told his patients they were receiving sperm from medical or dental residents or medical students and that no single donor’s sperm was used more than three times. Indy Star reported, “A few years ago, a handful of the children found each other through online genetic testing and discovered they were biologically linked. The fact that there were more than three fathered by the same man initially raised suspicions.”
