There is NO draft. Registration for Selective Service is a good idea, if it becomes necessary to reinstate the draft, all should be included. Makes it a more difficult decision to send our youth into combat, as it should be.

K. Not like all women are fit to serve, so it doesn't hurt my feelings. Although now people can stop using the draft as some kind of litmus test for equality between genders.

MSgt Danny Hope Which is why it's meaningless to me. Registering doesn't mean much if someone isn't fit to serve. I think this draft drama was over hyped to begin with.

SSG Jessica Bautista - Your right from that aspect. However, men who did not register would barred from all manner of benefits. So, to be fair, either everyone should have to register, or no one should have to...that's the only fair course.
