Thew witch trails were about trials for an Imaginary crime with delusions as the sole evidence.
Moore is is facing c accusations or real crimes by many people making accusations on record.

How exactly are theses similar?

They are not, but that's the narrative that will be spun.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that many on this board were claiming that Weinstein showed the immorality of the Democratic Party compared to the GOP.

I hate to break it to y'all, but both parties are corrupted.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr I actually wasn't talking about Moore (surprising, I know). I am in a book/movie deal right now in Hollywood and was just talking to my partner who is out there, and she is telling me that there are a bunch more stories that will be breaking soon... But, the fact remains that regardless of the crime, every citizen is afforded due process.

LT Brad McInnis - that applies to those that can be criminals charged if not then people just have to decide what they think of the people involved, Due process applies to governmental actions not personal opinions,

LT Brad McInnis - and what is your standard when there will be no trial? How do you determine it when both the criminal and the civil statute of limitations have run? Do you just declare the person innocent in the court of public opinion?

MCPO Roger Collins - I'm for due process for everyone, and would argue for Moore were someone to attempt to file a criminal or civil case based on the reported incidents.

Having said that, neither you nor LT Brad McInnis have answered the question--what is your standard when there is no trial?

My question to you is, what generates a trial? A court of opinion is what we have in the Clintons situation. In your court of opinion, anticipated results are more opinion. Are you aware of what a Möbius Ring is?

MCPO Roger Collins - I'll be happy to answer that, right after you and LT Brad McInnis answer the question I posed. That's how you have a dialogue, by back and forth questions and answers, not by answering a question with a question.

I basically did answer yours. No reason for investigation, no charges, no trial, the bar is set by personal opinion. And that means very little when you take it to the judicial system. Were you expecting a list of acceptable actions?
