These guys could probably pull it off if they said they were ordinary soldiers, sea men or air men. But no, they're always Special Forces, SEALs, or Marine Recon. Ergo, super easy to tip over.

Yes, that is so true. But the hard part is that we as Service Members of the Arm Service we have a certain way about us. The way we talk, walk and all together hold ourselves. That you can't fake.

I volunteer to go to Elementary schools for career day and Veteran's day etc, I'm all worried that I'm going to forget a patch, or have something mess up on my uniform and get confronted. I'm pretty stacked for a 10 year SFC that doesn't do jack besides check facebook, Rallypoint, and QA/QC Department of the Army forms.

Fakes are easy to spot. Most will try to "get away" from the person confronting them as to not get caught on video.... Most vets would tell the accusers to "Eat a bag of dicks" and continue doing what we were doing....

I've witnessed a few that were questionable, people talking about deployments where it just didn't add up. I haven't got to see the extreme Specials Forces Command Sergeant Major of Military Police.

I got approached as a chaplain candidate. While in Seminary, we drill in the reserve and wear a weird candidate patch over our name tape. “Hey what is that!? It’s on the wrong side? What is that!? Who’s your commander!? Let me see you CAC!”
