Sgt Martin Querin - My god, man. Didn't say you did. Don't worry; I don't hesitate to call someone out by name when that's my intent. My general comment shouldn't have struck a nerve; if it did, that's your problem. Yeah the generalization of Hollywood as Liberal elites and the generalization of Trump voters as deplorable hypocrites are equally disgusting. Would you feel better if a Democrat stands on a stage with a registered firearm they've owned for years, says they enjoy hunting, believe in self-defense, and own a small collection of 4-5 favorite weapons before they digress into responsible, commonsense laws that ensures accountability by all sides? Those types of Liberals do exist especially in the military. By the way, for a Liberal State government, they've had plenty of time to eliminate conceal carry and other radical gun control measures gun control advocates are accused of embracing; yet, nothing so lets skip the exaggerated generalizations.

Just trying to encourage folks that generalizing Hollywood and Liberals as un-American, unpatriotic, gun hating fascists is like generalizing all Conservatives, Evangelicals, and Trump supporters as hypocritical, deplorable, Russian loving traitors. My take on Ariel Winter getting a firearms license...she's not the only Liberal that has one and believes in 2nd Amendment but has anyone really asked her what she thinks about guns, violence, laws and regulations or simply why did you want a gun? Gun advocates don't care...she's a sexy fine young actress in skimpy outfits posing with a gun so who cares what she thinks; while gun control advocates don't care...she's an intelligent young woman to be respected as long as she doesn't criticize them. Both sides are huge hypocrites.

MAJ James Woods - the "that's ridiculous" statement wasn't aimed at you, sorry if I struck a nerve...it was in reference to her body, no shame there. It's not all about you sir. A generalization is accurate if it is true "in general"; in the case of Hollywood, it is; I would add that not everyone in Hollywood is an actor. Hollywood is the liberal heartland of Los Angeles County. It is juxtaposed against it ultra-conservative neighbor to the south Orange County.
And I think your comment "Both sides are huge hypocrites" is a very broad generalization, and I doubt you have interviewed enough of both sides to be able to make that generalization; whereas mine about Hollywood is backed by an overwhelming number of published media, social media, advertising and political campaign rhetoric and funding.
Lastly, I'd feel better if the radical Democrats, move to the states of Oregon, or Washington. And I would be OK if radical Republicans moved to Nevada. #whoneedsideologues

Generalizations are not facts so it's not about true or false; they are about opinions and opinions are not accurate neither are generalizations. Otherwise, in general, the military are full of warmongering killers that waste money and commit fraud and waste everyday. Consider that an accurate statement based on the person who believes the factual depictions based on a small collection of incidents representing the whole.
Of course my "Both sides are huge hypocrites" is a generalization. What gave me away? My use of the term 'both' that is non-specific. Finally, it's not all about me. Never said it was. Keep reaching. You can only point fingers until they break.
