I assure you if Trump had the US buy 40 of these planes and used them to contain the fires in California, saving lives and preventing more devastating fire damage, that this would definitely be 100% certified by the Meuller investigation team as undeniable proof of Russian collusion.

I do feel a bit bad for all the hell we give California over it's politics.
Their politics do deserve absolute hellish condemnation but it's people are not all a bunch of insane liberal hacks.
Why the state seems to run with the wackiest stuff imaginable does confuse me.

Part of it is Jerry Brown he has been Governor 4 times in the 70's 80's 90's was the Mayor of Oakland, CA Secretary of State head of the Democratic Party... His quote is "In Action, might be the biggest for of action"

We need to buy a bunch of these. The Beriev Be-200 can carry as much water as a C-130, but it can refill its tanks in about 20 seconds by skimming the water without slowing down, then it's back in the air for another pass.

When I watch this I think of the Urban legend of the Scuba diver sucked up and dropped on a forest fire, but that is an urban legend

SPC Robert Coventry - We'd need more than a couple. I'd say you'd want at least two of these planes for every 5 minutes of air travel time between the fire and the closest body of water. If you could get a rotation going where there is a planeload of water being dumped on the fire every 5 minutes, you'd give the firefighters on the ground a tremendous amount of help.
As a national asset, I'd say we want a fleet of at least 32-36 of them for the Department of the Interior. Or alternately, a state could decide to buy some of these and then lease them to states having fires in them. Or fire-prone states like California could just buy them themselves.
