“Where is the leftwing when we need it” is a question I have asked at times. Some of my readers who confuse the left with Antifa and Identity politics have been confused by my question. Why, they ask, do I want more Antifa thugs and Identity Politics hatred of white people?
The answer is that Antifa and Identity Politics are the antithesis of the left. The real left is pro-working class, pro all of the working class, all races, genders, sexual preferences. Identity Politics splinters the working class into victims of white heterosexual males and destroys the cohesivenss of the working class, thereby making it easer for exploiters to exploit.

I think personally that the left has made some very poor choices in aligning themselves with radical groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter etc. When we all know and should believe that all lives matter. Its the lack of respect for life that has slowly eroded our society into a gun toting, womanizing, bedlam of lawlessness. We need to respect one another and the time to make these changes may be now.

The real reason that Rome collapsed is because it's people felt the government was no longer serving them and so they offered little help to their government when it started to collapse and needed them. Do you see any parallels between Rome and America. Citizens have lost their respect for the police. Citizens feel they are entitled to the things they used to earn with a pride in accomplishment. Now they sit and wait for handouts. Citizens feel they are entitled to special laws that govern hate because their sector of the population is getting picked on. All these things and more led to the collapse of the Roman Empire. If we don't listen to what history is trying to tell us we are doomed to repeat it.

SSG Diane R. - No. We understand his article quite well. And I suspect that you do also. Thus, we may surmise that you too want to replace government of the people, by the people, and for the people, with the authoritarian government of the Left: Socialism and it's stepchildren, Communism, Nazism, and Fascism.

Antifa and Identity Politics are the product of the Left. Now, you want to disassociate them? Should of thought of that before they turned violent. That being said, I'm happy to see that the Left is finally exposing itself. Now we have a chance of destroying it.
