I was in the Army for only three years but it seemed like forever when it Christmas time. That was my loneliest time of the year. Now that I look back I can smile because I had many new friends to share those days with. Would I do it over again - you bet I would! Bless all of those old friends and thank God, because I'm a very lucky man to home for the "Holidays" today.

Thanks SP5 Mark Kuzinski for sharing (There's No Place Like) Home for the Holidays performed by Perry Como. I spent 34 Christmas's in the military service of this nation and many were lonely and far from what I would consider home.

There was a stretch in the 90s when I was going to school full time that I did not go home for a few years. No place like home SP5 Mark Kuzinski glad you are home.
