Jonathan Haidt analyzes Runaway Political Correctness & Social Justice Religion on Campus
An excerpt of Jonathan Haidt's appearance on the Waking Up with Sam Harris podcast. He discusses the alarming rise of a vindictive, authoritarian kind of pol...
There is some truth here, even though it comes from a right wing shill organization that likes to call itself a "university".
Jonathan Haidt, a former head of the UVA Sociology Department provides great perspective on runaway PC climate on college campuses, but this isn't something unique to the left... just watch the apoplectic reaction of some when others don;t stand for the national anthem, exercising their freedom OF speech.... or just how some people react when you challenge their views on RP.

You are really reaching here. No one has ever denied the NFL players their right to free speech. Not anyone. Not ever. People are simply exercising their right to stop supporting the NFL. However, in the instances cited in this presentation, people are being denied their right to free speech on a regular basis. Only the most avid ideologue and their dupes can't see the difference.

CPT Jack Durish - No, not really. They may be denying them a venue or a place to speak, but they can go anywhere else, or stay right at home and say whatever they wish for as long as they want to say it. Think of it this way... Is anyone off the street allowed to show up at your place of work or your house and start running their jibs? I doubt it. There may be something to it with regard to public universities, but that is about it. They are free to say whatever they wish, so their right to free speech is not being denied, merely a place where they can say it, which is no unusual at all.

I've always thought highly of Greg Lukianoff and FIRE.
Prayer still sucks, though.
