I have a Glock, MSgt Cayle Harris, but I'm not as sold on them as you are. I haven't seen the G19 yet. My son (101st Airborne) got an M-17 issued. Not sure what he thinks of it yet.

TSgt David L. Glocks are very plain, but they're reliable and cheap; especially if you buy through a blue label dealer. My gen 4 G17 with 3 magazines was $420 after taxes... hard to beat it.

I have been carrying a Glock 23 since 1995. My former department has been issuing them since the early 1990’s. It’s a very reliable weapon. Glocks are not my favorite gun, but it shoots straight and is easy to use for all types of folks. There is a reason why it’s the favorite gun of law enforcement in the US.
