A Battalion that annually burns its colors?
Ever heard of a battalion that annually burns its colors? Every November 30th in a solemn ceremony, 2d Engineer Battalion, 2d Infantry Division, burns the battalion colors.
My dad was part of the column that the men of this unit fought so desperately to protect.
