I'd read there's apparently going tobe some other sort of lower, less permanently recorded eval !method, I actually had a letter ofmeval done on me once, to go with an OER, that was before zoPRs for commissioned. I just thought the piece of interest, I did see !mention there is to be some sort of other method, look at the piece again, you should see it, it's there, I'm sure, be eager for more of your thoughts, many thanks.

They use performance feedback. Which they can do at any time. Honestly at that rank they are still just learning how to do their job.

Do you really need a form to talk to your subordinates?

No you need a form to document (and have them sign) that they were counseled

why doesn't the Air Force just stick with a process that isn't broken. the article states ...“Essentially, they go in a file and we don’t ever use them again,” Wright said at the time. “They’re not up for promotion, they can’t be used for senior airman below-the-zone consideration, they really can’t be used for any specific purpose. And so the question becomes, why write them?”... why? because it gives the supervisors time to document what their subordinates are doing and practice writing GOOD EPR's. further, I really don't see EVERY supervisor implementing the 180 day feedback sessions for every Airman...there's is going to be a lot of pencil whipped paperwork!

I entirely understand. Certainly, I merely thought you'd all want to see thst, it's a novel approach, howrver, clearly, such changes cause considerable worry quite often, believe me, I know, the commissioned side has had similar variations I can assure you, that happened when I wsd in, sovad for if it sin',t broke , don't fix it, I entirely agree with you, by all means, however, obviously it's rather like trying to argue with the Almighty, when thunderbolts like that get thrown down, contesting stuff, you know? like thst is effectively impossible, you know?
