My dad was a WW2 10th Mt. Div. veteran. I grew up with the indelible print of his 10th Mt. Div. experience on me. We skied, rappelled, rock climbed, shot rifles, camped, etc. I started skiing when I was 4 years old. Our skis were old army surplus skis with cable bindings. We had army surplus leather ski boots. I had no idea that even then my skis were outdated. It was just fun.

I haven't skied for about 4 years. My brother keeps trying to get me to go with him. I'm pretty set on going soon to Brighton (Utah) or Snow Bird (Utah) with him. When I got to the point where I was too tired after 3 runs I stopped going, but I want to get back on the slopes.
