Interesting idea. Maybe we don't need less statues, just more education. Until now, I'd never heard of "KKK General Order Number One." While Forrest shouldn't be considered a hero, in any sense, the contrast between him and Byrd are important. Why the differential historical treatment?

PO1 Don Gulizia Don't go muddying the waters of racial hatred with actual facts. The purging that is occurring is as much fueled by hatred and racism as the cause celeb that they purport to be fighting.
