Why Islam is True

It is very nice to discuss intellectual bases why Islam should be true. The problem is the reality is far different. All I have to do is look at the life of a 7th century war lord who looted raped and plundered his way across what is now Saudi Arabia. He attacked a Jewish village tortured a young women’s husband killed her family and turned her over to be raped by one of his captains to rape. Aw such a compassionate prophet.

I have found that whatever you Strongly believe in is very true for you. The problems start when you try to put this same belief on or into others. They can’t see things the same way you can just like you can’t see things the same way they can. This is were conflict starts because each wants the other to belief in what thy believe as much as they do. Something that will never happen.

Interesting read even if I don't buy his arguments. He declares Islam as being better (more "true") than "all other religions" but nearly every comparison he uses is against Christianity (and one reference to Buddhism).

As a convert to Judaism myself I understand many of his arguments but at the same time don't find them convincing.

Nothing wrong with being exposed to a different perspective though, always good to understand other people's points of view.
