Agreed. For my 20 plus years in the military, I read nightly. Articles for my masters, PME, information about my speciality and so I developed habits that have pushed me ahead of my peers. I still read about the work I do whether paid or volunteer.

That's great, and I think a lot of us need to continue to learn in order to flourish in our lives - careers, family lives as well as volunteer work too.

Great article! I definitely noticed that during the most "challenging" times of my life, I spent the -time after work- in isolation and usually in front of the TV. Along the lines of the article where it says, "do you know you?", I ended up writing down all the hobbies/interests that make me who I am and then made a vow to get back to participating in them; the effects continued to snowball for well over a year.

Happy to hear that. It's like defining our goals and understanding where we want to be, helps us to achieve them more easily and gets us better prepared to get there.
