People are getting tired of the "Russian investigation" which is total BS and bias. They should also be investigate Hillary and her people for their roll in rigging the Democrat nomination, campaign contributions, Uranium One, and all the kick backs she got while Secretary of State.

That's a great point. Republicans control the House, Senate, and the Oval Office... why don't they investigate Hillary (again)? What do they have to lose? One would think if there was even a chance they could turn up something, they would actually investigate if any crimes were committed. What happened to their devotion to the rule of law? ... or maybe, just maybe, it is just easier to just throw these kind of ridiculous claims into the public sphere through their paid pundits and allied "news" outlets, confident that people who don't know any better will take it as gospel, whole cloth, without ever having to do anything to substantiate their claims.
Ask yourself, if there was ANY substance to these claims, why don't Republicans do anything besides flap their lips about them?

This Republican disagrees, the Russia scandal will continue to dog the Trump administration until it's finally allowed to work it's course. Every attempt by the President or his supporters to stymie, stall or block the investigation and every effort to distract and deflect by his supporters appears increasingly more desperate only strengthening the perception that there's something to uncover. I'm talking about reprehensible tactics like attacking Robert Mueller or undermine the FBI that reek of fear and desperation.

Trump supporters can't see this because they are too emotionally invested in their decision to back a man like Trump.

The President hasn't actually attempted to stymie, stall or block investigation. He has commented many times that it is nonsense, a witch-hunt, etc, but did literally nothing to stop it. Unlike his predecessor, he has not weaponized the executive/investigative portion of our government, for which I am grateful.
He does say mean things, though, so I guess to some people that is the same as "blocking" an investigation.

You can tell yourself whatever you like, though I don't know who you are trying to convince exactly. Who are you trying to convince?

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - Is that how it "seems"? Let me break it down for you: I would be willing to bet you believe your point of view is right, or why would you maintain that point of view? Ergo, if anyone doesn't share your point of view, they must be wrong.

Fricking amazing how that works, isn't it? Anything else you want to cry about?

I don't know who this author is talking about, but I can tell you that there is no evidence it's helped him that I've been able to see. The same people who voted for him believe him. The people who didn't, probably still don't. The memo is going to spin toward the R's, of course, and they refused to let their own R's see the base document (unless they did this morning), and they refused to release the D's comments. From the article I read, they make a big leap to Hillary, when it was an R who commissioned it (she just purchased it). What bothers me is (1) I firmly believe Russia tried to hack our election, and they know it, and it wasn't just the D's that said so. Yet no one seems to want to ensure it doesn't happen again, and (2) I also know if this were Hillary and she had become President, the R's would be screaming for her head because after all, if she wasn't guilty, why the push back? And I'm still not convinced there's any connection to the President, and hope there isn't, but why doesn't he want to know? Maybe he's worried a family member will get in trouble for something. I'm saying all this as an Independent who didn't vote for either of them, so don't go all "poor little liberal is offended." That's usually the fallback.

SSgt Gary Andrews - It's just an excuse to fire Rosenstein and Mueller and give cover. I don't know why people don't want to know if Russia tried to tamper with a US election and someone in their campaign played a part.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - You like to talk a lot about what I believe and how I feel without any first or even second hand knowledge of how I feel or what I can or cannot easily believe, probably because you have no problem running your soup cooler from a position of ignorance and making claims about things you don't know anything about.
Here is a tip for you, Sparky - stay on your own side of the conversation and restrict your comments to what you think, feel and believe and stop telling other people what they think, feel and believe... that is of course unless your intention is to look like a first rate douche bag, then by all means, continue in your current behavior. You have the safety and relative anonymity of the internet to shield you from any real negative consequences.
