Interesting but a section of this story appears to contradict Representative Schiff's allegation of Nunes altering memo before sending to White House. It is also interesting that between this and what the FBI is saying in regards to release of this memo is contradictory.

The telling point comes when the accused begin attacking the accusers rather than the evidence. The fact is that Comey had countless opportunities while testifying before Congress and granting interviews to the press, to come clean. Now, he has no recourse other than to attack the people and the process

CPT Jack Durish - do you even recognize the irony in that statement? All Trump has done is attack the accusers rather than the evidence. Trump's not even releasing the real memo, but an "edited" one. Edited means altered, which means it is useless as evidence. If you were intent on being able to use it as evidence, it would be a redacted memo, not an altered or edited one.

Capt Gregory Prickett Don't turn it on POTUS that quickly, the whole reason we are talking about this right now is: Clinton campaign funding Steel dossier, Fusion GPS, FBI, DOJ, and applying for FISA warrant. CPT Jack Durish - you do remember from law school that a guilty plea is considered evidence of guilt, don't you? And that you have to have evidence to get indictments issued?
Have you heard that Mueller has enough to indict Trump for obstruction? There's a standing question, but you don't get to that point without evidence.
Instead, like you noted, all Trump is doing is attacking the accusers, likely because he knows that attacking the evidence would backfire on him.

Comey is all in, he has no choice by to say and do what he is doing to try to prop himself up. Comey ran the FBI, he owns what happened there and he had his hands in much of it. Hillary was supposed to win and this would have all been buried and life would have gone on. Comey knew the FISA warrants were ill gotten and let it happen. He knew the dossier was not real intelligence work, he headed up the FBI for God sake.
Hillary owed him and would have had to keep him quiet on the dossier by letting him stay at the FBI. The dossier was Hillary's and used to spy on her political opponent. She was hit on the email scandal but still given a pass by Comey with this groping speech that day at the microphone.
