No guaranteed ‘golden hour’ for Marines headed into the next big fight

It's always been my belief that soldiers will fight more aggressively, take more chances if they are confident that they will be cared for it wounded on the battlefield. That's why I think that news like this will cause a decline in fighting morale and impede fighting effectiveness.

I thought we had addressed this by training combat lifesavers and having them at the squad level to augment the combat field medics. Did the CLS program go away? or do the Marines not have the same program.
It was very effective for us.
