Gates rolls on Manafort, another Mueller success. He's absolutely putting the screws to Manafort, and the new charges are out of Virginia, a state with a Democratic governor. That effectively prevents Trump from pardoning Manafort, because if the federal charges go away, Virginia will charge him with state crimes.

Cool. Please advise when they finally arrest Trump. Although the 13 Russians will not be held to account, at least Muller is exposing Russian interference so it's not a total waste of money. Although I've heard accounts that the activities of these Russians were known well in advance of the Muller Investigation. C'est la vie.

If nothing else he is catching quite a few crooks, the tax money he is likely to get from the tax fraud and money laundering will very likely more than pay for the cost of the investigation.

If it will convince Americans of what and how they have attacked our election process (not voting machines), perhaps we can come up with a plan to keep it from happening again. Or at least to decrease it. I a still waiting to hear the POTUS condemn them and say we are going to do something--beginning with imposing the sanctions approved by Congress.
