I don’t know much about her history in Slovenia aside from the fact that she was born there and became a fashion model which allowed her to earn enough money to leave.

Aside from that, I understand that she speaks something in the neighborhood of 5+ languages fluently. That in itself is an achievement since it is indicative of a lot of effort and dedication to expanding one’s horizons through knowledge. I give her cudos for that alone, especially since I can barely manage two langauages myself.
As far as her complete education is concerned, I really have no opinion. She does, however, strike me as an extremely intelligent individual in any case. It’s quite obvious to me at this point that she didn’t immigrate to the United States simply to stick her hand out and take advantage of all the free shit she could grab onto at taxpayers expense. And, since she already had established herself in a very lucrative career before she met her husband, I seriously doubt she would ever have needed or asked for a single penny from the American people at any time.
She carries herself with grace & poise, and exhibits nothing but class in her public appearances, and to my knowledge, has never uttered a single negative words about anyone in to an audience or journalist at any time. The same can NOT be said for the former “first lady” of either the Clinton or Obama administrations.
It’s not surprising that anyone who so obsessively despised the President would view his wife in the same negative light as him though. Disappointing, yes; surprising, not even a little bit.....

To be clear, she was not accomplished when she received this visa. Her only jobs were, by modeling standards, small. Many people from Slovenia speak the same languages, and that alone is not enough to qualify as a "genius". I have nothing against his wife. I hardly remember she's there most times, but her husband is the damned POTUS, and he's trying to upend the immigration laws his then-girlfriend took advantage of. It took my brother almost TWENTY YEARS. My father served 36 years in the military, and I still didn't meet my older brother until I was in middle school. Again, I don't care what she does. I care about her husband's hypocrisy.

SSG Jessica Bautista - it took my mom and many members of her family years to get citizenship too...It took my Great Grandparents a long time too...and many members of my family on that side that came here from either Germany/Scotland/England....mostly Germany....but they came here...they all waited....for some, it only took a few years...and for some it took forever....but Chain Migration has gotten out of hand. Before the bill for Chain Migration was passed in 1965, there was a cap..... The CHAIN MIGRATION took the cap away along with other rules/regulations (which I believe are important to have)....the cap was un done and the migration double,, then doubled then doubled again and is out of hand. Chain migration after the cap was removed allowed ANYONE to be sponsored. The whole reason Chain migration started in the first place was to control migration, yet letting IMMEDIATE family members who would conform and contribute to AMERICAN society a chance to gain citizenship. This is NOT what chain migration is now. it NEEDS to be changed and the CAP needs to be re implemented.
Immigration should not be an automatic pass for citizenship....it should be earned and given to those who want to be here...want to work and or contribute something to our society. This story May or may not be true and if you TRULY do not have anything against Melanie Trump and only posting this because you are upset at TRUMP because he wants to do away with chain Migration, they why post this article. Post something that is relevant to your concerns. This is just another story DISSING the first lady. Capt Tom Brown CPO (Join to see) SSG Ronald Bloodworth Cynthia Croft PO1 Mary Vermont

So, the cheap personal attacks, tawdry sexual inuendo, and baseless accusations of illegality and racism have finally been injected into what was otherwise a somewhat intelligent discussion thread. I wondered how long it would take. So utterly predictable....

Opposing views don’t offend me any more than completely unfounded accusations and personal attacks. I am more than happy to debate any topic in a civil, intelligent fashion. Legitimate facts are always welcome as well, so long as they are presented logically and with at least some measure of evidentiary support.
That being the case, inserting cheap gutter talk, sexual inuendo, thinly veiled accusations of racism, and baseless charges of illegality, indicates to me that the individual resorting to that level of bad behavior has nothing of any real value to add to any conversation, and therefore gets tuned out.

Sounds like a lot of people will overlook hypocrisy when there's a pretty face involved.
