And the Trumpeters will soon be here to claim that this is fake news, that Trump did everything he said, and that the basketball players were ungrateful. They'll be led by the ultra-religious, because they have faith, just like their faith in the bible and their religion, and they now apply it to politics and Trump.

This type of thinking is how religion hurts people, by taking away critical thinking skills and replacing it with "faith."

I try to avoid religious conversation because I just don't know or care much about it. I do know, however, that hiding behind a religion in a secular argument is a sign that their critical thinking skills are being smothered to preserve tender feelings.

SSG Jessica Bautista - the entire problem boils down to critical thinking vs. faith. With faith, you don't have to have evidence, indeed, your beliefs can be in spite of evidence to the contrary. That means you can use faith, instead of evidence, to believe anything, and its one of the reasons that the Trump supporters back him despite evidence of lying or other misconduct.

My comment is not on the specific error of a religion, but on the problem with the critical thinking skills and thought process. Those using faith will deny that it is a problem. They're wrong.

Majority of politicians lie, but to lie so blatantly on something that can be fact checked is a sign of derangement. Trumptards will avoid this thread lol
