I figured Jackson, MS would make the list. I live in a suburb and only go into the city when absolutely necessary. And definitely not unarmed. There are some nice parts with restaurants and shopping and whatnot but they are few. Plus, the nice parts are so "trendy" and "millennial-ish" that I don't even go to the "nice" parts often.

I am form that area originally...Raymond actually. I agree. My wife and I were down there a couple of years ago and it has gone so far downhill we just wanted to leave and come home. Definitely pack if you go out.

I agree, I have been to several of those cities and found them to be nice places to visit. And I have been to several places that are not on that list that I do not want to go back to.

Good morning, sir COL Lee Flemming My thoughts on the matter is "Ëven if you saw a dumpster on fire, wouldn't you at least try to put the flames out before the fire spread to the nicer areas in town" and my other thought is "Flint's situation is unforgiveable"
