I see this as a tactic to use gun control to grab young voters as well an attempt in preventing the NRA from funding republican candidates.
How about taking on drugs (big pharma) - heroin in particular as more people are killed by heroin than all guns combined - suicides included.
However not surprised no one is talking about this one as big pharma is in the democrats pockets.

The ONLY thing I can think of positive about this young lady’s position is that at least she is honest about her final goal. Most lib/leftists aren’t and keep pushing the nebulous “common sense gun control” argument knowing (1) most moderate voters will think it sounds like a reasonable compromise, and (2) they intend it as one more win towards their ultimate goal of no guns.

Don’t worry for the them. In their utopian world view, there will be no guns by then. So the crook will be a polite gentleman who will quietly ask for their possessions and, civil justice warriors they are, they will hand them over and invite the perp to stay for dinner.
