PO3 Steven Sherrill This Rep is a disgrace to his office and all those that came before him and should be removed for taking an oath and repeating the words of that oath with no intention to abide by that oath. His goal is to destroy the country he took an oath to serve and protect. Even worse is his denigration of the very constitution and country that millions have died serving and protecting. He should be considered a traitor and treated as such! I am sure there are countries in this world very much in line with his way of thinking. He should go there and and I am sure he will be welcomed with open arms. He sickens me, and when he departs this country he so hates he should take the rest of the socialists in congress with him...namely Bernie Sanders.

We both know Montpeculiar is full of people who think just like this guy - wait until you see what they'll bring to the table next year.

CDR Dan Cunningham - I Know what you are saying CDR, I live in VT. and at one time not long ago VT was one of the stalwart Conservative states in America, and the Progressive (aka Ultra Left, aka socialist party) has a firm grip up here now. Even our Republican Gov. has now turned to the left. Our Lt. Gov. was the head of the socialist party in VT but ran as a "Progressive". I did some research on the Progressive party and found there roots are with the Communist party and were formed by the Communist party to have a chance at beating FDR. The term Communist party Conjured up very bad images, so they came up with the term Progressive and thus gave FDR a run for his money. They have been around ever since. Bernie ran as a Democrat, but he too was a socialist and knew he could not win with that moniker hanging on to him. When he won the office of Mayor to Burlington he did that on the socialist party ticket. We are a large welfare state now and the progressive party gets all their votes! I firmly believe the progressive party has full control of the Democrat party now.

Apparently, neither does debt, based on Illinois economic condition.

"A civil war cannon is frankly much less dangerous than weapons we are allowed to carry on the streets in many of the states and cities in our country today. This is something where technology changes and public attitude changes and both are important in each of the generations.”"

Spoken like a true coward who has never stood in front of, or anywhere near a cannon. If this person believes that the 2A does not allow technology to advance, then the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to pens or the internet. Quill feathers and parchment paper forever!

SPC Casey Ashfield If he really believes that, he should stand in front of a civil war era cannon, and see if he agrees that it is less dangerous afterward. They had some really gruesome anti personnel rounds for those cannons. Rounds designed to rip through people, not necessarily killing them instantly, but making them unable to fight, and likely to die in severe agony at a later time. Umm, no thank you.
