I was recently just offered my first civilian job offer. All the Prep work that Hire Hero's USA provided actually works. I would highly recommend any transitioning service members sign up for a counselor prior to leaving the military.

Congrats MSgt Guillermo Ybarra III (HVAC Recruiter). I've heard good things about Hire Heroes USA. What type of things did they do for you during the prep work that you found most valuable? I'm always looking for great organizations to help spread well-earned praise.

Tailoring resumes first and foremost. Mock interviews and general guidance. I feel that having an assigned counselor who can leverage her experience towards mines has been most helpful. She has been a tremendous guide to me.
