Reality Check: Are journalists increasingly under attack?

Poor babies. Sounds like those of us who attack journalists are "mean". (And yes, I count myself among that number, the meanies, not the journalists) I guess countering lies with truth sounds mean from the journalists point of view...

In the case of this article they are, but the journalist they are talking about are out on the front lines or reporting about things that can get you killed because the people they are reporting about don't want that information out there. But the every day journalist sitting in New York or L.A. etc have very little to fear and they are the ones writing crap articles.

I guess if calling them out for publishing BS is attack, maybe they are.
