Definitely a rights violation. Definitely discriminatory. Pay in cash and there's no issue if they did somehow manage to implement it.

I don't think it is a rights violation just yet. They are already tracking what types of purchases you make at what stores, this would attempt to drill it down further to guns.

I should mention that I am against this move. Really, I am against any moves that track my personal behaviors, guns or not.

I would also like to point out that banks owned and operated by private lenders (and any private institution for that matter) do not have to guarantee you your 2A rights. If Walmart says I can't bring a gun in a store, then I can't complain about a civil-rights violation. Though, I wonder if being FDIC would bring with it some restrictions on things they can and cannot do, as long as it is legal under federal law. Like, can a bank reject certain classes of otherwise legal transactions?

If a company is traded on the stock market where joe blow with a couple of bucks in his pocket can buy shares, they're no longer private.

SSG (Join to see) - Public in this sense means government, private being free-market.

Speaking hypothetically, I can see how some individuals may withdraw small amounts of funds over time so as to not alert anyone watching the account so as to make a cash payment at a later date and never disclose the purchase to their spouse. I mean government.

I just saw this on IG. This is in reference to the credit card companies. Now firearm stores are responding.
