Today on Capitol Hill, IAVA stood with many VSOs, veterans exposed to burn pits, and Reps. Brian Mast (R-FL) and Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) at a press conference to announce introduction of new legislation to establish accountability at DoD for burn pits and other exposures to airborne toxins by servicemembers downrange. Maybe someday the VA will actually recognize we have issues. They paid to send me downtown for diagnosis but won't say it is service related!
