Capt Gregory Prickett , does a lawsuit require facts to arrange? Does it prove guilt? Neither of these. Is Trump personally a paragon of virtue? Absolutely not. Has he said, and possibly/probably done, some inappropriate things? Yes. Is any of this all that unusual for someone who is where he is? Unfortunately not. Are they impeachable offenses? No.

I'd be curious to know how many of the suits have been brought by disillusioned, Not My President, Never Trumpers. Anyone can file a suit for any reason, as has become the way of the overly Litigious country known as the USA in the past few decades. We only hear of the filings not the results, which are in many cases thrown out as baseless. You Know throw it at the wall and see what sticks. OK Trump got caught in an old Affair. I didn't vote for him because I thought he was the perfect husband. Any one with his kind of money is going to get sued at the drop of a hat. People wanting something for nothing, the kind that feel you worked for and acquired it , but I sat on my a$$ and now you should give me some of it. Socialism/communism means everyone except the politburo shares in the breadlines and misery.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - yes, a lawsuit requires facts, and a lawyer who files a baseless lawsuit can face discipline, including disbarment. When a lawyer signs a pleading, he is saying that there is bonafide basis for the pleading, including evidence. See Fed. R. Civ. Proc. 11.

Second, many of the lawsuits do involve impeachable offenses. They are prior to his taking office, but any election law violations would be impeachable. Fraud, as in the Trump University case, is impeachable. The emoluments case would be impeachable.

And finally, there are plenty of rich people who don't get sued as often as Trump does. Not anywhere close. There's a reason for that.

The person who violated election law was HRC.
