Re-engine has lead to not being able to see it from 25 miles away! The old (D and G) models smoked something fierce! I love the old gal.

Yes but the D's and G's have long been in the boneyard. Only H's left and their engines don't smoke. I flew H's stateside and D's in Vietnam and the power difference was awesome, plus no smoke.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I'm sure performance wise it's better. We had a number of guys come through EOD school that were tail gunners looking for a new job. Most of them were sad to see that feature (manned guns) deleted.

MAJ Ken Landgren No, both the B-1 and B-2 are considered heavy bombers. B-21 being developed will also be a heavy bomber.
