We are. And those laws that govern war are many years old with many precedents. We need not reinvent the wheel, simply do what was done in the past that worked.

I agree all that fake tribunals like those at Gitmo gets us is hate and distrust. They only "work" if you decide that laws were made to be ignored.

Cpl Mark A. Morris There is simply no provion for them under miltary, internationalor US law. The accept teatimonybthatbwould not be admissible in any court and do not allow thebacxused to confront his accuser or even here all the evidence against them. They are a kludge made up on the fly and to the rewtbofbthevworlds look like the old Soviet show trials the procedurally resemble.The people.desreved to be tried and punished if found guilty,but like all matters of law playing it straight is necessary for it to be seen as justice.
Nobody is going to take a Court to be anything but a mockery if it, for example ,allows evidence obtained by torture.
