I don't understand why there is so much discussion about limiting the 2nd amendment to the Constitution when there is no discussion about infringement of the 1st Amendment. Conservatives and Libertarians are consistently having their voices silenced by so called Liberals....those same Liberals who want to limit the 2nd Amendment. Why is it OK for a Liberal to infringe on rights guaranteed by the Constitution?

LTC (Join to see) - LOL I'll take that I guess. I'm not his biggest fan but there are worse people to be compared to!
BTW, If y'all get a few spare minutes, watch the video that SFC (Join to see) posted. The guy, or an intern, actually did their homework and covered the topic of "racism" and the 2nd Amendment pretty well. It is a little irritating to hear him continue to say "gun control" but I get his point.

SGM Jeffrey Hall That's a recent issue I've been having with many prior friends who were gun owners or just seem like they got too much time on their hands despite being mid grade ranked. I won't give examples out of respect but I still question them one on one when they bring a topic up on a public venue and expect us all to think what they said was okay.
I'm furious with what's going on in colleges lately. Sadly when I should be asleep in watching videos on political rallies and campus debates whereas the next generation of adult Americans act out like children or at worst assault others for different beliefs. I've angered many of my old friends by being more out spoken, using little filter and having more conservative opinions. As of these last few weeks it's arguing over real world situations such as young mothers who need a gun in the home to defend themselves as single parents or assault survivors. Failing to see the failure of people in three letter agencies or having the human capacity to understand that differing opinions don't mean you're a horrible person. Just hope they understand what they sign up for as uniformed services members who think no one should own a gun.

As to your thoughts, education, not just watching Fox or CNN (cough cough!), but actually doing a little digging goes a long way to understanding both sides of tough issues. Like guns and the cry for unnecessary gun control by those who don't understand that it isn't a gun issue.
Too many people, on both sides, just spout the rhetoric of the day with no idea if there might be another side or another rational path to a real solution.
My 2 cents anyway.

That has to be one really convoluted decision tree. I think he started with the premise of 2A tainted by by slavery and worked back to his original question. He missed some of the dots during the connecting of same.

The Second Amendment is the one that can and does protect the others. An ARMED man is a CITIZEN....An UNARMED Man is a SUBJECT.
