I have made it 10 years on the good side of SIGAR, now in a report coming out latter this year we took our first hit for a small border crossing on the Iran border. I think he has definitely proved his point that we have wasted a lot of lives and money there with little to show for it. Iraq is not far off.

LCDR,
IMO, as long as we do not control the narrative, we will not win the war there. The narrative is being taught in Mosques, Maddrassas and homes.
So, we should be a disruptive force and not try to win the war in Afghanistan. That place may have some national interest. But, nothing like the oil fields and Israel LCDR.

Paging " Mother of All Bombs" "Mother of All Bombs" your flight is ready. More and bigger ordnance each and every time the scum bags stick their greasy heads up. Test munitions, old ordnance disposal, the lot.
North West Frontier Province is considered to be Afghanistan territory by the tribes. Pakistan has no control over these N.W.F.P. areas. Peshawar is one major hiding area of this scum. Quetta is another. Dara is a arms depot. Same trails and routes across mountains being used since Soviet invasion, since British occupation and into history.
