White House defiant on Roseanne race row

He was quick to call out NFL players as SOBs who should leave the country for silently protesting against police brutality. But he won't call out a pure racist, just as he wouldn't after Charlottesville.

As was the case with the former White House under Obama. This White House seems to want to comment on everything and this is one area where they should leave the case alone. This is a case between ABC and one of it's employees...........nothing more. Also, FOX News also wrong attempting to warp this into it being unfair or inconsistent. The last Tweet that got Barr fired was the last in a series of bizarre tweets, none of which were really funny. ABC knashed it's teeth on the earlier tweets and finally took action on the last one. Rosanne is a Prime Time show and ABC has a right to be concerned about the show and it's main character's off screen comments. As for the FOX proposal they could air the show with another lead actress so as to not punish everyone else. One item wrong with that is I believe Rossanne owns the rights to the show at least in part since she also has final say who appears on the show (past example, she was able to get Tom Arnold on the show previous and made him a star while they were married...........then dumped him from the show). So that approach might not have worked very easily as presented.

Someone should ask the POTUS if he has anyone that should get an apology from him . If not then he shouldn’t wait for an apology.
