'Cowboy' Groth - Depends on what you are buying...but I go with my dad to the commissary...and many things are much better buy...and the commissary produce is so much better than Walmart...the Meats are better and prices are much better...especially chicken and ground beef...the oriental food is much more abundant in the commissary and way cheaper than the Walmart...it just depends on the product.

Some of the commiszaries don't get enough business. Not a problem overseas but stateside...

The Supermarket Lobby on Capitol Hill's going to fight the death because that means less profits for them. Watch this be stalled with lawsuits. Excellent idea. I remember the days when Army Reserve and National Guard people like me could only go there 12 times a year because of political pressure to limit our access.
