I can believe it. The last one in the lifeboat is the first to resist anyone else climbing aboard

Yes, because those who came legally or were born here don't want to see the country drown in debt, lose their jobs to cheaper illegal labor, see their children's schools overwhelmed by uneducated, unaccompanied teenagers or have their safety threatened by MS 13. I could go on...

I grew up on the border. My parents still live there and they want to see the wall go up. As I was growing up, illegals would run through our yards daily talking with them our clothes hanging out to dry, and our bikes. I'm a second generation American. I say, "apply the right way, or don't come." Its really that simple.

Common sense evades some people. I get that it's an emotional issue for those people and I have compassion for those who want to come for disparate reasons, but there are laws, flawed as they may be, which need to be followed.

Cpl (Join to see) - Agree. I like others feel bad for them but we the United States are not the answer. Sure everyone wants a piece of the American pie. I mean what other country will pay for all your commodities. However, the American tax payer should not have to shoulder the burden of having a messed up world. Build the wall.
