Wise commander! And the enlisted folks made the correct choice as well. A toast to good leadership.

I personally would have wrote the wing commander a ticket for his parking in an undesignated spot and blocking two designated parking spots. Heres where these commanders and XO's and first sergeants get this wrong. On a military base there is only one type of legal reserved spot and that's a handicap spot. We would have this problem in hawaii as the barracks my MP unit were in was owned by USARPAC and they reserved alot of spaces at the barracks that had limited parking and the armsroom for the DA civilian Police and MP's was on the bottom floor and both DA police and MP's on duty would park in these commanders ,Sgm ,1SG and XO's slots and they would threaten to have them ticketed and towed until we shut their asses down real quick showing them they couldn't have a marked spot and theres nothing they can do. By law its just a courtesy given to commanders but if someone violates it they cannot legally be ticketed or towed and you could write them up and try to NJP them but a butterbar so fresh out of law school that the inks not dry on his diploma yet could get that thrown out.

This only begs the question:
Why does the Wing Commander need a reserved parking spot at the Enlisted Club?
There isn't an O-club there?

Top. I thought the same thing too. I think that is why the sign is removable because he doesn't have a reason to go to the E-Club often.
