This sounds like a bad joke and I find it offensive. So yes, I guess it's true that everyone is offended by something

Seems everyone is offended by something... people need to get a life.

I am seriously at the point that nothing FB, Twitter, et al, does shocks or surprises me when it comes to free speech. You may not like what someone says, but I will defend your right to say it! Free means free, not sorta, kinda, or just a little bit.
