That's good to hear, Col Joseph Lenertz. The AF has been adamantly opposed to the warrant officer program since it ended though. Nothing personal, but it would be a cold day in hell before they bring it back. They won't even let enlisted fly drones officially.

Just started the move toward enlisted pilots flying drones. I support ACC/A5J running the BACN program (you can google it). One of the aircraft we use is the EQ-4 Nethawk, a comms variant of the RQ-4 Global Hawk. We just got manning approved to hire 27 enlisted pilots. So, a little progress for once!

Col Joseph Lenertz - Nice. I guess baby steps will work. I still don't see Warrants in our future, but I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, I guess it’s been about 10 years, time for someone in the Navy or Air Force to dust off the ol’ enlisted pilot/warrant officer pilot/limited duty officer pilot blueprint. I guess it’s the Air Force’s turn. All those decades of new programs... man, I wonder how each one turned out?
