Remains of potentially 55 American military MIAs released by North Korean's and flown to South Korea. Remains will be flown to Defense MIAPOW Accounting Agency Lab in Hawaii. Identification process can take years, families of Korean War MIAs should confirm agency has DNA sample or should check process on their website. Still over 5,200 American military members remains thought to be in North Korea. Hopefully next steps will be resumption of allowing US research teams into country to continue search.

It's a beginning and it began because of one man's willingness to negotiate. His will was so strong it moved an implacable foe to negotiate. And always remember, all others failed because they didn't even try.
