Mom baby sat "back in the day" to make a little pocket money and one day her customer came over and said that his 12 year old (whom mom was babysitting) wanted to see "that noisy English group, the Beatles." He got tickets but didn't want to go, would she like to be the one taking her? Mom jumped at the chance and saw them at Shea Stadium.
The Beatles could not hear themselves very well and so the performances were pretty gruelling. All mom heard was an occasional guitar "twang" carried by the wind. Once the internet took off, I was able to find her most of the complete audio for the show. Mom (and myself) are still massive Beatles fans. I still have mom's tour program from that concert.

PO3 Donald Murphy That is terrific. My mother was a big Beatles fan as well. She had a stack of 45's that I played constantly!
